Working alone hurts Obi

In 2023 many of us worked hard, but alone. Three groups canvassed the same street while the next ward saw nobody. Polling units had no agents. Result sheets went unphotographed. Siloed efforts hurt Obi.

Nobody is asking your movement to give up its name, its leaders or its style. Keep your independence. Coordinate with the campaign through vote4obi.com. One map of every polling unit, one count of every voter, one list of every agent, so no street is covered twice and no polling unit is left alone.

Why united

Divided in 2023. United in 2027.

In 2023 the opposition ran against itself. The winner needed only 8.8 million votes. In 2027 the movements that carried Peter Obi and the movement that carried Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso stand on one ticket.

No movement owns this. Every movement is needed: to bring 20 voters each, to fill all 176,846 polling units, and to follow every result sheet to the collation centre.

A good job is your right

23 million Nigerians. No job at all.

23.2 millionNigerians with no job at all at the end of 2020, the last count under the old method (NBS)
33.3%Unemployment in 2020, the highest ever recorded. It was 10.4% in 2015
93%Of all work in Nigeria is informal: no contract, no pension, no protection (NBS, 2024)
767Factories shut down in 2023 alone (Manufacturers Association of Nigeria)

In 2015 the APC promised three million new jobs every year. By the end of 2020, 23.2 million Nigerians who wanted work had none. One in every three people ready to work.

Then the count was changed. Since 2023, one hour of paid work in a week counts as having a job. That is how the figure fell to about 4% on paper while nothing changed in your street. Hawking pure water in traffic is not the job your parents sent you to school for.

A good job pays enough to rent a room, feed a family and save something. It should not need a godfather, a bribe or a visa. The NDC plan moves Nigeria from consumption to production: grow it, process it and make it here, so the jobs are here too.

Unemployment does not ask if you are Obidient or Kwankwasiyya, Christian or Muslim, Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo. That is why we unite.

Where these numbers come from

Movement names from the campaign’s coalition notes. Logos are the property of each movement and NDC. INEC 2023 results; Mobilisation Platform polling unit dataset. 372,934 citizen agents is our arithmetic on INEC counts: two at every polling unit (176,846) and at every ward (8,809), LGA (774), state and FCT (37) and national collation centre.

Every figure on this site comes from a named public source, checked in September 2026. Where we did the arithmetic ourselves, we say so.
