To young people:They spent your future.
Take it back.
If you are under 35, you have spent most of your adult life under the APC. Strikes, JAMB, no jobs, #EndSARS, the Twitter ban, the japa plans. This page is yours.
Your record, not theirs
ASUU strikes shut public universities for 647 days. Four-year courses became six.
Youth unemployment hit 42.5%. Then they changed how it is counted, so one hour of work a week counts as a job.
The Lagos judicial panel found that soldiers fired on young people at Lekki toll gate. No officer has been charged.
Twitter blocked for 222 days.
They promised one million tech jobs in 24 months. By February 2026: 135,000 trained, 15,000 “job pathways”.
Young people marched against hunger. More than 30 children were charged with treason.
Passport fee raised to ₦100,000. Even leaving got harder.
To be fair: student loans are real. NELFUND had lent ₦303.9 billion to 1.64 million students by July 2026. The Not Too Young To Run Act lowered the age to run for office. Those are two wins in twelve years. Weigh them against everything above.
They shut our universities for 647 days, blocked Twitter for 222, and shot at us at Lekki. Now they want our votes.
If you are under 35, you have spent your whole adult life under the APC. 16 January 2027 is the first day of the rest of it.
You are the majority
In 2023 the winner got the votes of just 9.4% of registered voters. If young people turn up, it is not close.
