Look at the last column, then look at the minimum wage. Rice went up seven times. Petrol went up eighteen times. Your pay went up less than four times.

About 35 million Nigerians faced food crisis in the 2026 lean season (FAO/WFP), one of the largest hunger crises on earth.

63%of Nigerians now live below the poverty line. About 140 million people (World Bank). It was 40% in 2019.

They promised ₦5,000 a month to the 25 million poorest Nigerians. In 2018, fewer than 300,000 households were getting it. In 2023 they promised ₦25,000 to 15 million households. By April 2025, only 37% had received a single payment.
