How one state beat the federal machine
On Saturday, 15 August 2026, Osun State choose their governor. For one side na the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, wey ruling party wey control federal government and 31 out of 36 states back. For the other side na the sitting governor, Ademola Adeleke, wey him party no get any federal power at all.
Everybody know how these kain elections dey usually go. This one go different, because the people of Osun decide say e go be like that.
EFCC freeze the Osun State Government bank account, dem allege say “unwarranted movement” of ₦11 billion happen. The Nigerian Bar Association condemn the freeze.
After people shout for public, the president order EFCC make dem unfreeze the account.
